We are very happy to announce that the first winner of the predictor game is david26, with 98 points he will be the happy owner of a new jersey.

Actually jordi scored 100 points kicking everyone else’s butts, but since he works @ GolST he cannot win, therefore david26 is the winner.

David will be receiving a new jersey in the next weeks, apparently he will ask for the “Deportivo la Coruña” jersey, thats an excellent choice!

Keep making your predictions, we’ll have a new winner each month, we also have some surprices for the next months, so stay tunned.

It seems that the more predictions you make, the more chances you have to win the jersey. The top-25 users where the users with the most predictions. All the national tournaments have begun, so you’ll have plenty of matches to make predictions.

Predict results and win your favorite jersey.

Every month, GolST will reward the best prophet with your favorite jersey. Prophets are ranked using two parameters: accuracy and points.

Accuracy is the times you get it right divided by the times you guessed.
To avoid one-hit-wonders, you get 2 points for guessing right and -1 for guessing wrong.

To make your predictions, you just need to go to the Matches tab on your favorite tournament or team and click on the matches you want to predict, there you can pick between the 3 possible outcomes.

The best prophet is the one who has the most points. If there is a tie, the highest accuracy wins. If the tie persists, we’ll toss a coin, there is only one winner. You can predict all the matches available at GolST. The more matches you predict, the more opportunities you’ll have to win.

Every month we’ll contact the winner and ship him your favorite jersey.

We’ve been working really hard in the core application to bring new features to GolST, some of the new features are:

User picks. Make your prediction for all the games available, compare your prediction rate and accuracy with your friends. Your prediction rate and accuracy is shown in your user profile.

Profiles. Now you can have your own profile in which you can choose from your favorite teams and players.

Your display name, photo, country, etc can be changed in the prefs link.

By default your profile is available to everybody, but you can choose to make it only available to GolST users only.
